SARVPALLI RADHAKRISHANAN INSTITUTE FOR TEACHER EDUCATION, NOGLI (RAMPUR Bsr.), DISTRICT SHIMLA, HIMACHAL PRADESH is located at Nogli (Balna) opposite Power House Nogli  in the midst of lush green trees, Satluj river view and blue hills all around is an ideal place for receiving Teachers’ education firstly because it is very approachable from all places and there prevails a calm and peaceful atmosphere as it is free from din and bustle of the City. The institute is being run and managed by the “Human Welfare Educational Society” ( A Regd. Society ) under the valuable guidance of an Advisory Committee consisting of literary /laureate personalities namely Prof. O.P. Sarswat,  Dr. Ashwani, Prof.Nain Singh, Prof. Sikander, Prof. Mamta Mokta ,Prof. Manoj Saxsena, Dr. Aman Bhardwaj, Dr. Vimal Kishore, Mrs. Tanendra, Sh. A.K. Goswami,Sh. Chhavinder Sharma and alongwith a Management Committee headed by the President (Human Welfare Educational Society) Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Dr.Harbans Rana(Dept. of Edu. HPUniv.), Dr.Satish Bharwal(Dept. of Edu. HPUniv.),Sh. Ram Assarey Thakur,Sh. Sanjeev bhardwaj,Sh. Chetan Sharma and many others. The Society is running Vocational and Educational Institutions at Distt. Kullu and Distt.Shimla. Sarvpalli Radhakrishanan institute for Teacher Education at Nogli (Balna) is one of them where Teacher Education is being imparted to B.Ed. &  M.Ed students .The Society also gives fee concession to the students belonging to below poverty line families on the basis of Merit and to  meritorious students.Besides ,The society gives incentives to the toppers of Campus as well as HPU.

The College is also concentrating to conduct researches on Rural & Tribal areas of the State. In this direction, we are making all out efforts to have Rural/Tribal Research Study Centre in this institution to highlight various educational and social problems of the area and their remedial measures.In general, B.Ed. & M.Ed. courses include the studies of various schools of Philosophy, Psychological foundations of Education, Educational Technology, School Management and Studies on Environmental education, Human values, Human rights and Research methodology. Besides above, students have to undergo Teaching practice for five months in Schools and have to participate in various activities.

In order to draw out the best potential of the trainee in the field of work experience, eminent guest lecturers are invited to deliver the valuable lectures by the College authorities.
